Why is it "empowering" to women when they are slutty?

So it's okay for men to go out and be sluts, but we'll be damned if a woman is going to do it!

Never understood this. Imagine a world where we didn't label women as sluts, where women were free to follow their inhibitions and sleep with whoever they want to sleep with, on whatever level of attraction they had for him.

Guys really shoot themselves in the foot by being so judgemental towards women, like we're any better? Society is just more accepting of a mans antics, if we treated women as equals in this respect it would bring about an evolution in sexual openness.

Although it could be argued that this sexual evolution is already happening through the empowerment that you speak of, and in 50 years women will also need to embrace their inner game in order to attract us men, who have become so selective.

It's double standards. If a girl sleeps with eight guys in a week they say she's "empowered". If I do it, I'm called "Gay".

How can I put this.. When a women that had "a fair amount" of sexual partners gets married, she usually gets a guy that she can control easily, she wants a man that will take care of the kids, has a steady job and a Costco membership, not a player. The woman is done with games and random sex. I believe that's what you mean by "selective and have standards"
