This is a reminder for all of us that practical experience is a lot more valuable than theory.

A lot of the times, we (including myself) would sit at home and read a shitload of articles to try to come up with the best routine. We read tons and tons of pickup material to reassure ourselves, even after knowing exactly what we should be doing. In a sense, I think a way we cope with fear of going out into the field, is to feel like we have to be "ready" for it.

Practical experience definitely reinforces your game when added to the constant reminder of pickup theory. Just a reminder to all us sedditors to read less and do more!
