In high school I had a group of close friends who hung out all the time and such.

Everyone always said to just make friends with everybody when I go to college. So that's what I did. I talked to pretty much everybody, and a lot of people know me. I've exchanged phone numbers with a lot of people and whenever I walk around I see people I know.

But these people are merely acquaintances. None of them really ask me to hang out, and I'm not particularly close with them. Male or female, I can't say I'm really part of a group, which I miss. My roommate and I go out to parties and hang out with different people every weekend. Hooking up with girls and gaming them is cool, but I fear it's stopped me from being part of a close social circle, which makes me feel incredibly lonely. Something hooking up with/gaming girls doesn't solve.
