i've been lurking here for about a month and i'd still consider myself a newbie to the whole seduction realm, but i've been studying real social dynamics (for inner game) and the mystery method for techniques, and i came up with a new type of neg: sarcastic interest.

say you've opened the set but your target is completely dictating the conversation, and it's not really going the direction you like.

what i've done (and it's worked) is when she's talking about something boring, show sarcastic interest. example:

HB: talking about something completely random, like cats or exes for something that is away from where you want to go.

Me: Really! You know, that is soooo fascinating. Tell me more. cue obnoxiously sarcastic "interested" look

this does several things:

  1. makes the girl laugh but self conscious at the same time.

  2. a way of self entertainment, although with some seeming disqualification.

  3. steers the conversation to a better path.

i looked around and haven't seen much on this technique. have you ever done something similar to this? and what are your results?
