So I was walking around two days ago in the morning and ran into two girls from one of my courses, I had never spoken with them. I had no intentions of hitting on them but I had to ask something about the class. So I just rolled with it and started talking. HB7 is one of them, she's already into me from before because she's always eyeing me and I wanted to see how receptive she was. I'm not particularly interested in her. Her friend is hb9, she's VERY attractive..like a 9...but a bit cold. they're both dressed in sweats/hoodie.

this whole interaction was about 5 min.

hb9 has a massive bitch shield up or she was just busy texting. she doesn't say much. she's probably the type of girl who goes to a club and gets a bunch of chodes approaching her because of her attractiveness.

hb7 is cool.

so i asked about the class and started chatting and hb9 was generally cold, hb7 was receptive but either I or her were sort of nervous, I think it was because hb9 was cold so it affected how I felt. i had some distance between herhb7 but i asked her about her interests, major, how they're doing in class...i couldn't thread onto the things they said and it bothered me. typically i'm very natural and the conversation goes smoothly. but i plowed for a little. anyway hb7 is about to go to class and i get her name, and she smiles and is receptive, she gives me her hand for a handshake. so now we're familiar.

i ask hb9's name, who's been pretty much bitch shielding me/quiet the whole time and she gives her name and does this sly smile/smirk as she gives it...so I chose to put attention to it for fun...I ask,

"Haha what's that...is that your fuck off smile...?" in a teasing way. but it felt like she wanted me to leave.

then i tease her about her hair and she smiles a little but goes back to texting.

so i say i'm going to go back to doing hw(i was working on some hw). i failed, I'm not sure how to approach this situation but they were both leaving and hb9 was texting her friend(who was met up with her 30 sec later..so it's good i left)

i didn't want to plow because i see these girls everyday, I don't want a bad reputation, and the approach wasnt going amazing...they were both quiet so i didn't have much to bounce off of. this is my only meh approach out of the last 20. it's 1 negative out of 20 approaches...I'm not sure what happened. I think it's her attractiveness/she thinks she's all that or something. i've never really had many negative approaches in the day and there's never been a girl who acted like that so it made me think.

anyway i was thinking a lot on why she gave that smirk, because I'm observant...and now I remembered when she got called in class...her name.

When she met me she gave me a fake name. I found that kind of odd....?

I'm trying to learn from this so I'd like to know why would a girl give you a fake name? What does that mean when a girl gives you a fake name? I'm not some stranger in a club...so what's the deal with that?
