I'm a 33 year old male that suffers through a multitude of mental illnesses. I've been diagnosed with severe depression, bi polar disorder, obsessive compulsive disorder, Attention deficit disorder, generalized anxiety and chronic tic disorder. Despite all this, I've been able to do some really amazing things considering the pain I go through on a daily basis. I've worked in the gaming industry, I graduated last year with a degree in finance and I've even done profession comedy. Here's the problem: For the last several years, I've worked my ass off to deal with the pain, suppress the anxiety and take enormous strides to get over the first hump--approaching women with confidence. Losing my fear and doing stand up was a big help however I don't do it anymore. I've become a pro at approaching women. I can talk to them with ease, make them laugh, get their number and then maybe a date. That's where it stops. The effort required to sustain that confidence wears on me. I have difficulty staying interesting and selling my value. I feel like women can see right through me. They see my facial tics or my anxiety take shape and back away. It becomes difficult to think or hold a conversation. These last few years have been extraordinarily difficult because I was forced to stop taking my medication. I haven't gotten laid in 3 years and I'm looking to get some help. Has anyone ever had this problem and how have you dealt with it?
