You don't have to entertain the whole group. The sooner you can isolate your target the better

I've not had a lot of actual experience with this kind of group. Honestly, normally with a group of 3+, I know one of the members of the group. So, I will say that you should take my advice with a grain of salt.

However, from what I've learned over the couple of years learning seduction, you still want to open with entire group still. If you come up to one of the girls (let's assume a group of 5 girls for right now), you are A) showing your interested directly to your target (which may or may not be a problem depending on your style of game. I'm more of a indirect kind of style) and B) you may been seen as a creep or turn on some of the girls bitch shields. By opening up to the entire group, you can set up the mood and the situation to isolate your target.

Again, I'm more of an indirect kind of style of seduction, so for me its a matter of showing the group you're a confident, interesting guy. You're giving everyone eye contact and making sure all or at least most (depending on the size)of the group is paying attention to you. You won't really show a lot of interest in your target, but giving her at least the respect of acknowledging her existence initially; it's push/pull theory. So after X amount of time, you can say 'Hey, I've been neglecting your friend here, do you mind if I talk to her for a moment?'. You should have gain at least some trust and acceptance in the group, so in theory, they shouldn't care too much. Normally, here all you need to do is turn her around so your back is to the group. Now you've isolated the girl you've been wanting to talk to. You could also try for the 'Let's go somewhere more quietly, I need to show you something' or "I need to grab a smoke'.

I hope this gives you at least a starting place for trying to figure this out. If you do find something that works, you should give us another post about your success. Just my two cents though. Good luck to you.
