Just my .02, but it seems like you're trying to set up 2 dates at once over text, which I'd personally try to avoid. To me, it seems needy, and her having to turn you down because she's with her family gives her the feeling that she's upsetting you. She's busy with her family (no reason to believe this isn't legit) and was flexible with times. The takeaway: She is interested in hanging out with you. Wouldn't reschedule otherwise. And as a matter of personal opinion, I only set up one hangout/date at a time, because I see it as needy. So no worries. I'm giving the girl I'm gaming a bit of a break until after new years (YMMV here, I'm in college so it's convenient).

Too needy, she wants to see you it's clear but she's really busy with her family. You shouldn't have asked too many times like you did, it's too desperate.

Yes coming off as a little needy, you should have taken the lead and thrown off a: "me and you are getting drinks tonight" or some shit

Pretty much what the others said. Bit needy. Also remove the smiley faces. It will pay off in the long run. I like the 'probably doing some bday bah blah drinks, you in?'

I understand why you pushed a bit because she's a friend (i'm guessing) rather than someone's number you picked up.
