[Forgot to change the title - there's no rebounding, just a day game question]

Went out in the field today. Specifically Starbucks.

As usual, there's always a much prettier girl among the cafe.

She was giving me IOIs ever since I was ordering my coffee. So I went for her. Rusty to day game, I actually failed the first shit test. I had asked her to come over since the only free power socket left was beside me. She said nah it's fine - but I detected an excited trepidation in the softness she answered with. In the heat of the moment, my logic was too shallow - I thought she meant it, and exited set.

Went back to my desk and was just texting instead of working. My friend on text urged me to try again - so I went back again (after considerable hesitation in my seat)

Oddly it really was as simple as saying "could I have this seat" then take her bag off the chair beside her.

That action pushing through her objections seemed to pique her interest - actually duh, but I'm rusty so bear with me. We chatted and bla bla..

Anyway. Do you guys think I should have just grabbed her laptop the first time after telling her about the free power socket, jumping straight to "here let me help you (then grab stuff)? This is given she was already IOI-ing me heavily at the start - even turning to her back and watching me go to the counter behind her and maintaining eye contact.
