No you don't. This is called arrogance.

Confidence is something you find in yourself. You can be confident because you have great relationships and friends, you can be confident because you have been convinced that you're awesome, you can be confident because you are incompetant but have convinced yourself otherwise, you can be confident because of so many different things.

There isn't really much knowledge on "How to approach", you just walk up to someone and start speaking. "Hi" is usually a good start. "I'm * name*" is a good followup. Though you give us 0 information on your situation, this is about all that anyone can help you with.

I agree with /u/VMikeL. If you know everything, then you wouldn't need a confidence boost. Start small, and don't be ambitious because if you have the mindset that you know everything, but don't have the confidence to back it up then you will really come off as fake. Don't have oneitis on your target, but rather you should practice your game on several women and continue to focus on your skills rather then one girl.
