This is my first FR, hopefully I get it right.

The night started out with my friend, a girl who is truly just a friend, who wanted to see a band playing at a local bar. I get to said bar and realize that a bunch of people I haven't seen since high school are there. Thinking, "This is an easy way to look sociable to the rest of the bar!" I start opening everyone who I remember. Getting into state, I look for people I don't know. I still battle with AA, but after opening ~10 or so people it's gone. I see this HB 6.5 and open her. I maintained eye contact the entire time and held my hand on her shoulder as well. She was getting into me but her friend HB 7.5 was cuter and taller so I pivoted to her by shaking her hand and making HB 6.5 introduce me. The conversation was pretty boring so I'll skip that. I did keep it short though so I would be able to go back if I wanted to.

I get back to my friend and she is at a table with some of the high school people where I start to reconnect with an HB 7. I start qualifying her by telling her to sit closer to me and to sit on my knee. She obliges. From there when we talk (it was loud with the band playing) my face was right next to hers, but I still looked her dead in the eye. She was shy, but she was blushing and never moved away so I took it as an IOI.

This is where HB 4 steps in. She doesn't approve of the way I am gaming her friend and tries to distract me with some nonsense.

HB4: I know I can hit on girls better than you!

Me: No way. Let's find some willing participants.

I look around the room and I see there is an HB 8 sitting at the bar with a friend (HB 5).

Me: Do you want the left or right one?

HB4: The left.

Me: Too bad, I want the left one. Any one else need a another drink?

This made me feel alpha, letting the girl have her choice but then taking it away without her being able to object. I was primed for this. I went to the bar and lo and behold she became a HB9! I could only see her from the back before and now her face made for a better picture. Knowing everyone was looking:

Me: I like your red hair (massive eye contact with a nice smile)

HB9: Hey. (then she looks up) I like tall men. (now she has a smile as well)

Me: what's your name?

HB9: "K." , Me: "what?" (I moved in closer, maintaining eye contact), HB9: "K." , Me: "One more time" (now I am cheek to cheek with her and my hand on her leg)

HB9: Your crazy

Me: Crazy to do this?

I went for the kiss. I didn't think about it, I just did it. I lingered just a half second in front of her lips to get the IOI and closed it. I took a quick peak back to the table where HB4 was and she had a dropped jaw. I returned my attention to HB9 and was about to f-close, but the logistics unfortunately did not work out. So I #-closed and went back to my friend at the other table. She was all alone because after I had kissed HB9, everyone had left. The closing line before my friend and I walked out the door was, "I don't know this new ole_lickaroo."

Thank you seddit for giving me the tools to connect with people. My personality has stayed the same, while you guys taught me how to express it.

tl;dr girl thought she could hit on women better than me. K-closed in front of her with a HB 9.
