Obvious throwaway here, written right after the event due to my frustration at the whole thing. I'll try and keep this quick.

I got talking to this girl on facebook - long story short I'm a graphic designer, put her in a club poster, and she was ecstatic and got in touch. I'm also a DJ, so to her, I've got quite a high HSV off the bat.

We got talking, and I asked her out for a drink 'purely on business' (as a joke). That same day, she text me, and said that she lived close by, was just going to grab some vodka and come over to mine - great. During this convo she also very casually mentioned she had a boyfriend of 3 weeks, but it was all very playful.

We got along better than most girls I've ever had around - an amazing amount of rapport, and a little bit of kino - mainly from her - I was a tad reserved due to the whole boyfriend thing.

She mentioned that her boyfriend sent her some long drawn out message about how they needed to talk but that she wasn't going to read it. We proceeded to drink, I taught her how to DJ, and we had some great conversation in my room. This whole time we playfully agreed on 'no seduction', and it kept jokingly coming up every time things got too touchy.

She mentioned that we should be best friends because we had so much in common, and that she'd set me up with her friend, because we'd get along so well, but all the whilst giving me serious IOIs, and dropping conversation about her ex and current boyfriend.

She then asked me a question about whether it's true that all guy friends really just want to fuck their friends. I told her that I do fuck a lot of my girl friends, and it's actually no big deal, that I'm not really into LTR and I think commitments aren't my thing and neither is sex.

Somewhere around this point she turned reserved and pensive, like she was strongly thinking things over. I told her that it's no big deal, that I'd like to stay friends with her regardless, but that it really is a shame that she has a boyfriend because I thought she was cool as fuck, and that I probably would have made a move on her if she didn't have a boyfriend. She didn't seem to respond negatively to those comments.

Anyway, she left a bit hushed but not cold, grabbed her shit, and said, we need to continue our DJ lessons but (again, really jibingly, be just friends).

I'm confused as fuck. This girl is amazing. I feel like I should have made a move on her, but didn't want to sacrifice the opportunity to just be friends with her if she reacted adversely to the fact that I was making a move on her despite the fact that she had a boyfriend.

tl;dr Girl comes round for first date in a tiny pair of shorts, with a bunch of alcohol, lots of kino, get along incredibly - she tells me she has a boyfriend and that she'd like to set me up with one of her friends, then acts all reserved either because of something I said, or because she was expecting me to make a move on her. Confused as fuck. Upset because she's one of the coolest girls I've ever met.

Dun dun dun. What to do?
