One of the top reasons for anxiety in guys when it comes to relating with women is the pressure they feel to be the ones who drive the conversation, to bear the responsibility to hit all the attraction switches, to be the boyfriend that's smart, funny, attractive - never down, needy, indecisive, or scared.

If you think a woman's job is to look or stay pretty in order to have it made then this includes you.

I find this thinking to be harmful - you come to place too much responsibility for another person's happiness and feelings of attraction on yourself. You come to see "failures" to keep her engaged or to avoid flakes as indictments of yourself. Maybe your technique wasn't right. Maybe you were too nice. Maybe you weren't aggressive enough.

What if you lived in a world where all the responsibility and all the blame wasn't yours primarily to bare? What if.. we lived in a world where there was neither responsibility nor blame for making someone attracted to you? What would that change?
