Problem #1: Go out and approach on the weekends, stop making excuses and go do it. Go to a mall, busy area of town, anything. Find out about your local high school's events like football games or socials.

2: That isn't having high standards, sounds like an excuse for not approaching. High standards are personality based in my opinion, because being attractive is incredibly common.

3: Be outcome independent. You get one-itis because it sounds like you're afraid to lose the girl you like, this mentality doesn't keep her around either. Just tell yourself there are so many attractive and interesting women out there for you to experience. Holding onto a girl is like only eating pizza at an expensive buffet.

Women are literally everywhere, but your age kind of limits things. You're still young enough to hang out around high schools, so you can probably meet girls there if you're clever enough to swing it. And hell, you've already got a great thing going for you: you're living alone when all the other guys your age are still living with their parents.
I get it: you're young and inexperienced, and the way women look is still a factor in how you feel you're perceived by others. When you get a little older, you'll give less of a fuck about having arm candy and start to seek out women who are actually tolerable to talk to. Take it from a guy who's been around: hot girls are a dime a dozen and they're notoriously lame in bed. If you don't believe me now, try a few for yourself and see what I mean. You'll be itching to go for those average-looking girls next door before long.
Knock it off. You recognize the problem, so stop it. It's literally that simple. You'll probably have to force yourself; get used to it. That's how you get rid of bad habits.
