My boyfriend of 3 years broke up with a few weeks ago. It's been really tough but now I'm past that period of panic and fear and feeling plain terrible, and I'm feeling human again. I've started seeing some other guys (but haven't felt ready to do anything physical, just easing myself into single life, boosting my self esteem), hanging out with friends, examining my life and implementing necessary changes.

Essentially, I was a crazy bitch while I was with him because I got used to him just accepting that I was like that. I just lost the ability to control my feelings and emotions because I guess I looked at him as a 'carer' so to speak. I'm sure some of you guys can understand that...But anyway, I've come to the conclusion that that's NOT who I am, I'm only 22 and I've learned this lesson the hard way unfortunately, but I've absolutely learned it. Implemented changes, it's been tough, but really satisfying to learn etc.

I know without a doubt that I still am in love with my ex. And I know he cares a lot about me. We've had dinner once in the 3 weeks since we've broken up. We both agree it was the right thing to do. And all I really want is the chance to show him the girl I am now. It's only been 3 weeks but I already feel like a different person. Like, I've grown the fuck up in that time, recognised my flaws, and addressed them. I want to show this amazing man who loved me. And I have no expectations from him, he doesn't owe me a damn thing.

I just want to sort of...let him know how important it is to me to fight for him, and not just give up and accept that that's how I am. It's not, and I want to show him.

Any advice would be amazing. I was thinking little sexy text messages to get him thinking about me in a pleasurable way..(we always had amazing sex), or movies or jokes that we both liked (we always got on super well and laughed a lot). The relationship was essentially perfect except for my occasional craziness, and it got out of hand. I so want to try to show him it doesn't have to be like that. It's a total wake up call for me, I'm not going to live my life that way anymore. I want to show him that.

Sorry for the rambling, best way to get this out though!

TL;DR I royally fucked up my relationship by 'losing myself' and treating my boyfriend fairly poorly, and he broke up with me. I've learned a hard lesson a hard way, and I have rectified my flaws. I am wanting ways to try to show him that. Seduce him again, essentially.
