What is a strategy for when you push and the girl pushes back?

You need to read up on something called "shit tests". The trick to them is to always turn it in to a joke and or exaggeration or just out right ignore them. You will never win a shit test if you answer truthfully.

I can't tell what actually happened since I was not there, but perhaps try saying it with more confidence, eye contact, and assertiveness. Try not to over think, just turn anything she says into something funny and escalate.

For Example 1:
"Damn girl your hilarious" grab her arm "But you need a shot. Two vodka shots for Me and (insert funny nickname)!"
Just walk away and pull a girl right in front of her vision to give higher value
ignore then bring up new topic.
Warning: This one takes extreme confidence. If she walks away first, grab her hand and pua spin her and say "Woah there I'm not done with you! I haven't even gotten in your pants yet" Laugh and smile "just kidding I haven't even kissed a girl yet" smile/kino/eye contact "You can be my first" go in for kiss or "Will you be my first?!"smile and laugh and this sets up the make out for later on.
For Example 2: This one is easier, but not sure how mature/ old she actually is so you have to calibrate.
" Hah, yeah obviously, can't you see I have a cougar fetish" Follow this up with a smile and while you say this you escalate by rubbing her arm/put arm around her.
"Well kind of... I mostly just fell in love with your big ass booty/beautiful smile/gorgeous hair/stunning eyes/cute blue dress/etc. Remember to follow this up with a smile and laugh. Never forget escalation.
"Yeah and to talk to your friend. Can you introduce me? haha jk" smile, kino
"Yes, and because I want you to be mine forever" Smile and charm her with eye contact, go in for makeout.

Keep pushing. It's like there's a ball of emotions between the two of you, keep playing with it and raising her buying temp. Play fighting between you and the girl can lead to physical escalation if she keeps at it. Also imo best response is always something retarded but while keeping the intensity on. "I'll see your MOM around"
