Nobody ever said all you have to do is make them laugh. In fact, we frequently give advice for guys to not focus only on humor. Some guys get a positive reaction with laughs and then just go for the laughs, and don't move forward. This is sometimes called dancing monkey syndrome.

Some humor will make a woman comfortable enough to hang around with you for a while, but you have to move on, and actually seduce the woman. You have to transition to attraction-building or you'll just end up as the comedian who goes home alone. This, you have already discovered. Women don't want to fuck comedians, though they like a good sense of humor.

When women say they like a guy with a good sense of humor, they do not mean a guy who tells jokes.

Yes, they like wit. But WHAT THEY REALLY LIKE is a guy who makes them laugh while TEASING THEM.

TEASE THEM.

Bust on them. Treat them like a brat that you like but is still a bit of a nuisance.

They will try to prove themselves to you by sticking around, trying to get your attention. Act like you don't need them, they will try to prove they are worth your time by fucking you.

If you are only in comedian mode, they will like you but place in you that "don't want to fuck" category because the comedian is rarely sexy.

The cad that busts their chops gets their panties wet.
