Hello everyone

This is will be my first date (ever)

The other day I was messaged on Facebook by a very close Female friend asking if was willing to so participate In a blind date with one of her friends. I said "sure, I would love too" anyway, messages were passed between me and my friend discussing time, date and location. My friend suggested the cinema, Immediately I said "No, no no bad idea, no chance of talking/getting to know this person etc" But my friend was insisting this would be the great location for a first/blind date. I reinstated the fact it was a bad idea but reluctantly, I gave in and agreed.

So I guess what i'm wondering now is, is it too late to change the location? Their is a bowling alley right next to the cinema and the promenade is a 5 minute walk away which has access to arcades, restaurants and the beach. I believe bowling would have been the better choice but I did not consider it at the time.

Should I stick to the cinema and go for dinner/ talk a walk afterwards? Try change the location now or try persuade them into doing something different when we meet?
