I've been lurking for a time, today was the first time for (at least it felt that way) years - I made real eye contact with a girl.

It was the first real sunny day here, so shorts and t-shirt and sunglasses was a must. On my way back home I stopped at the gas station. As I went in for paying there was this girl, not the cashier but a girl at the snack bar. I come in, greet everyone and pay for gas pump 11. I make a random glance around and meet the eyes of mentioned girl. I try my best smile and, to my surprise, she smiles back. From somewhere beyond the counter the cashier asks if I want the recipe, I have 1 second brain delay, being really confused. When I leave I look back over my shoulder, only to see her smiling again.

Well, that was it, my first real succes. Okay, I didn't get her number, but hey, I'm just a beginner here, some sort of padawan. Anyway, it made my day.

Any ideas about a smooth way to get her number? I martered my brain, not much succes yet.
