In my quest for becoming better with women I have stumbled upon different side of pickup artistry, and one of those sides is using magick to attract and be better with women. So what are your thoughts on that? Is there such a thing as magick?(I think of self-hypnosis, NLP and other kind of mind maniupulation also as of magick)

I remember first listening to Ross Jeffries audiobook/course, where he asked to vividly fantasize having sex with a girl you want to meet in your life etc and at the end of this mental exercise he asked to masturbate(no kidding). So I did what he wanted(sounds weird), imagining the girl I really liked, and few days later she started to appear into my life. I met her in the library and even approached her, talked a little etc. But I was bad at closing, she left and nothing happened. Few years later I saw her again, approached her and talked a little, nothing happened.

Can this be coincidence, or some kind of subconscious trick aka reticular activation system?

I see this happening quite often with me. Whatever I concentrate It tends to appear into my life. But even if it appears I still have to take action to get it.
