I think spoiler tags would make a big difference to this sub. I have a habit of covering several topics in one post, or trying to give advice from several angles, which while comprehensive, takes up a lot of space. It makes a lot of posts very inaccessible for people, in that half of the post may be irrelevant to them, but the other half might cater to them directly.

It also helps for FAQ/compilation type posts, long lists and just general utility.

Spoiler tags give you a way to hide a lot of text, give it a title and let people look if they feel it will help them.

Is there any reason not to have them?
