I'm a 24yo guy. I've never been smooth with women. I only had a couple of girlfriends and hookups in my life. I'm 6 foot 3 and while I'm not brad pitt, I don't look awfull either. I'm in my last year at university.

I started waiting tables at a bar 2 months ago as a parttime job. It's a job that forces you to be social and friendly to everyone, and it makes me more sociable. The job requires me to ignore girls a little bit because I'm usualy busy! This only seems to help build attraction.

There's an ice-cream stand next to the bar. Last week there was a nice looking girl working there alone. It was a cool day, she didn't have a lot of work. I took a cigarette break and walked over to the icecream stand.

I walked up to her, smiled and said "Hello! Sold any iced cream yet?" She smiled and stepped out of her booth to join me for a smoke. I sat down on one the benches by the shop, and she followed my lead and sat down on the bench opposite to mine. I was a bit worn out that day, so I relaxed and sat back. We talked about her job, and she told me some stories about a weird guy she saw walk out of the bar the week before. She dropped into the conversation that she was living alone in an appartment nearby. I took it as a hint, but didn't respond to it. I kept the conversation short. I said "I have to get back to work. I'm viewer888". As I got up to leave, I reached out for a handshake, she shook my hand, giggled and gave me her name. Then I walked back inside.

Later we exchanged glances a few times when I was clearing tables outside the bar and exchanged smiles or waved at eachother.

When my shift was over she was still working there. I walked up to the ice cream booth. A kid was standing there eating a snow cone. I asked him if he was enjoying it, he smiled and said yes.

I walked up to the girl and told her: "hey this might sound funny, I'd like to get to know you better". She smiled at me and giggled. I handed her my phone and said: "give me your number, I'll text you sometimes". While she was typing in her contact info, I made a bad joke and said something like "OK, now I can text you 10 times a day". She looked uncomfortable and said "that's not good, maybe I shoulden't give you my number". I answered laughingly that I was kidding.

While she handed me my phone back I wanted to make sure that she knew what my plans were. I asked her: "you're single right?". She replied "Yes". I said: "good, now I can totally seduce you and make you mine", in a dry humerous tone. She laughed, I said goodby and walked off to my car.

About 15 minutes later I send her a text "hope to get to know you better, [my name]"

Two days ago I send her another text saying "Hey icecream-[her name], I'd like to meet up this weekend. I'm not sure when I'm going to be working, how's your schedule friday-saturday?". She hasn't replied to this text message yet.

I'd like to see her saturday, should I just send her another text? All other feedback is appreciated!
