An old acquaintance started talking to me on Facebook. We had a small conversation and I asked her to dinner. She said yes if its "only as old acquaintances catching up as Im very busy and dating someone."
So I can either decline and tell her we are looking for different things, or accept, befriend her and maybe she can be a good connection for business or her friends. Or if she breaks up with her bf.
I think accepting is entering her frame, so I'm leaning away from that, but there are pros to expanding your network, male or female.
Thoughts?
