Has anyone ever had success with approaching via IM or text? I'm 18 and where I live is fairly rural, and I don't the time or resources (due to exams) to be able to see people or meet up fairly often. Because of this, my main method of contacting people is normally by IM. Can I be successful using this to arrange dates or should I wait until the very few face to face meetings I have with people?
