Good 'ole nashvegas, yeah I think there are a few of us folks on here, I'll be honest I have very little interest in a reddit meetup, but I would love to hear of other nashville sedditor's accomplishments/date ideas. There's a lot to do in this city if you know what to look for.

I grew up in Nashville and am now going to UT in knoxville. Possibly try five points just north of downtown?

See I think that's more of what it could be used for.. I am a newbie to the Nashville area and I want to know the cool places and things to do besides Broadway, cause that's a tourist trap. Still fun, but still a tourist trap lol

Yeah haha the only time I ever actually go downtown is if someone from out of town is here. Are you at any of the schools down here?
The bars in midtown are pretty decent. Dan McGuiness is one of my favorites, cheap drinks, outdoor patio/dance floor, and the inside is pretty solid, plus you can bar hop down demonbreun once you're there.
The gulch is pretty solid too. Rusan's has some of my favorite sushi ever and they have a good sake happy hour special. Definitely try the sake bombs when you go, make sure you get the "loud" ones if you're with a group ;)
Bar Louie in the Gulch has a killer wednesday night deal where beer drafts are $1 and $2 a piece, appetizers are half off after a certain point. Definitely try the beer braised mussels, that shit is to die for.
Follow organizations like Music City Roots, Musician's Corner, and Live on the Green. There's a shit ton of free music in Nashville, and having to go out on a budget should never be an issue here.
If you have to go downtown Rippy's is probably my favorite bar there. Drunk tourists love it and start jamming out on all floors. Random country girls will actively try and get you to dance with them at spots like this, so it's not bad for meeting women, just keep in mind most of them are out of towners.
I could go on for pages about this shit, is there anything in particular you were looking for?

haha actually no, that is all badass information. I'm about to move to germantown in a few months. Right now, I'm living up by gallatin, but i love the city. It always seems so fun. So that's why I plan on moving there..
I have heard that the gulch is awesome, and i have heard a lot of good things about bar louie. I'm definitely going to check out everything that you have mentioned. lol Thanks mate.
