please excuse my writing, not very good at this.

I was dating my ex for about 2.5 year and we recently broke up about 2 month ago. While dating her i never really talked to other girls so my game was completely gone(not that i had game before this but still no practice in almost 3 years). I decided to download tinder and check it out. after a couple of days and matches that did not go anywhere (no reply or conversation ended) i start talking to this girl who looks like a HB7 in her pictures.

i had just discovered this Subreddit the same night we got matched. After doing some reading, i sent her a message and we message back and forth about 6 times and i asked her for her number (thanks to How To Tinder for the tips on how to get her number and to keep the messaging short on the app). after a bit more research, i text her and find out that she is from my area back home where i grew up. after about 10 messages i asked her out, but i broke a rule and i told her i was free tonight and that i wanted to take her out(did not give her 24 hour notice). Anyways she replied that "aw im flatter and id love to but tonight isn't good for me, because i have to work. but i am free Wednesday and Thursday if you'd still be interested". i waited about 2 hours and replied "Wednesday works for me". she did not reply to that message. the next day(Tuesday) after lunch i text her "hey [name], [location], tomorrow 7 pm sound good?" where she replied with " Sounds great :)". i did not text her back until today around 5pm and i said "see you at 7".

Actual date:

i show up at the location(i picked this coffee/frozen yogurt place) at around 6:50, around 7:10 she walks through the door and she was HB8 in person. amazing eyes, beautiful smile, a little shorter than me and slim body, dirty blonde hair, she was just beautiful. so she walks in and i stand up and hug her really tight(not too strong to hurt her but strong enough so she can feel my muscles). i tell her she looks great and if she wanted to grab some yogurt or coffee and chatted up a bit about not liking coffee that much and we decide to get yogurt. she picked one flavor, i picked another and joked with her about wanting to try hers later. she smiles and says "yeah ill let you try it".

we get our yogurt and i payed, and we move to the back of the place. the only good table available was a small thin table with chairs facing each other (not the best position as i wanted to sit next to her but this work because i was till in reach of her hands and our legs could touch). we start chatting and talking about completely different things, just random topics. a bit later i tried her yogurt and she tries mine. she had some cool bracelets and i grabbed her hand and asked her about them, while i gently touched her hand. later i reached for her long necklace(was of an owl) and asked her about it and i complemented her on how cool it was. gave her a compliment about her earring but it was to far to reach for her ears as i was doing it. after about and hour and a half i get up and said that we should get out of here and head to this really chilled bar down the street. we started walking and i start to guide her down the steps and out the door with my hand on her lower back, very gently and not aggressive at all.

so we head into this small little video game bar and start chatting on this old beat up couch, i start to do very light kino on her, touching her leg and knee areas as we talked and joked, the place was dead and we both did not drink anyting, after about 20 minutes we started talking about my job (i work right down the street from the bar) and i got up and said to her "lets go ill show you where i work"(since she seem very interested on what i did for a living). so we walked to my office and i touched her back a couple of times as to guide her where to go but nothing more.

we arrived at my office and i give her a tour and she was very impressed. we have these exercise balls around the office and we grabbed 2 of them and sat across from each other, and talked some more. i joked around twice about tapping the balls so that she would loose her balance and she laugh both time. after a bit of talking i told her to make our way to the back of the office where we have a bunch of huge bean bags.

so we lay on them and we keep talking and flirting a bit i give her some more light kino(i have never done kino before so it was all new to me. was just trying to do stuff from what i read on this subreddit lol). so we keep talking, i give her a few Push/Pull and after about an hour or so, she asked me if we could go soon since she has school in the morning. i agree and bout 15 minutes later we get up and start heading back the coffee place(where we parked our cars).

she did most of the talking the whole night and i would wait for her to finish and add my own experience about the topic where it would apply. we arrived at her car and joked around a bit about a dent on her front bumper. after that she said " i had fantastic time, i really enjoyed tonight and thank you for showing me where you conduct your business". i responded with" i had a great time also."(i was really nervous since i have never k-close a girl on the first date). so i hugged her and as i am hugging her i give her a kiss on the back of her check and front of her ear area. i hugged her again and picked her up gently and she started laughing so i spin a bit and she enjoyed it. i said bye and asked her to text me when she gets home.

as i am driving home this car tried to pass me and cut me off, i then realize that it was her. so i called her up and asked her jokingly" are you following me home?" she gets a good laugh out of it and we say our good byes again on the phone.

when i arrived home, about 15 minutes later. i tried calling her to set up a second date(since i was too nervous to ask her in person). but she did not pick up. about 5 minutes later she text me and said" i am home safe :)". so i text her back and said" Alright cool, hey so i had a really great time tonight. you are really cool, fun, and cute :). i want to take you out again this weekend." (again thank you seddit for the tip of asking a girl out and not to ask her if she wants to go or not, and just say i want to take her out). then she replied " ya i had a great time as well! thanks for everything! and ya that'd be great but im working a lot this weekend so we'll have to figure something out"

i have not replayed back and don't plan to until maybe tomorrow later after noon with " alright cool give me your schedule and ill figure something out".

again thank you everyone on seddit for all the great tips, i may not have K-closed or F-closed but i practiced my kino and have a better understanding of it now.
