I don't know if field report ist the right description but I post it anyway.

I went on a walk with a girl I was together with and got friendzoned after a few weeks. It didn't really bother me to be friendzoned until last week, because I more and more realized what an amazing person slipped through my fingers. During walking I thought: "I have to ask her about what she thinks about us." and as soon as I finished this thought I basicly slapped my inner self in the face, because this would have lead into a dead end. Instead I thought: "Don't talk to her - show her!"
And that is what I did. I showed her with confidence and while being my true self that I was still into her. She responded great, we kissed, hugged and yesterday we had sex.

My thoughts about this:
I think for the lesson to learn from this it is not important that I was once together with her. The thing is: this could have ended in 3 ways:

  1. I could have said nothing and just kept on being in her friendzone forever
  2. I could have talked about it to her and she would have turned me down out of defence / embarrassment or whatever
  3. This is what I did: I showed her with confidence that I want her and so I got her

"Show her that you like/want her - don't just talk about it!"
This is one of the most important advices I read around here. Whenever I approached a woman this has helped me a lot. Nothing speaks louder than your behaviour around and towards a woman.

Even if she had refused my approach - it wouldn't matter. I would have had clarity and could have moved on without asking myself "What would have happend?".

A little anecdote:
Because of dehydration from last night with her, only 2.5 hours of sleep and not much to eat I almost fainted in class today.
