Of course. I also wish that I would just trip over a duffel bag stuffed with $10 million dollars while walking to work on Monday. But that's also not happening.

I would rather know the truth about reality, however unappealing it is, than live in a reassuring but deluded fantasy world.
It may not make you happy, but understanding the true nature of reality, the world, men & women, society, etc. has a grim satisfaction of it's own, one that I wouldn't ever trade away.
