I'm not only looking for self improvement; I'm looking for a real passion in life. I want to be an emotionally centered, outcome independent, high-value, passionate-about-life individual who has something to live for other than the beautiful girl he wakes up next to.

Way back in high school, I was lead alto saxophone in my jazz band, played a soprano ballad solo (so an entire song with band accompaniment) in our jazz set. I was drum major of a band of 100+ of my peers, and my school life was all about leadership. My passion in those younger years was music; I woke up thinking about what awesome way I could spice up my improv or how I could motivate the band to reach new heights.

I'm older now and beyond those things and I would love to discover a new passion. I found music sort of by chance, so, those of you who have achieved a state of outcome independence and have something awesome to live for, be it career, hobby, anything--what do you do? Will you share it with me and the rest of the community? I know we all need to find our own passions on our own terms. No one can tell us what we want to do, but I would love to hear a few examples from the community. What makes you awesome?
