Read Daring Greatly by Brene Brown. All about how to grow emotional courage. I'd also recommend Mark Manson's models for a simillarly modeled approach that's centered on women, but Daring Greatly is a pre-req to Models.

Wasn't talking down. Trying to offer advice to a brother who is going down a dangerous path. Relationships aren't fulfilling because of the sex. You can get sex from a hooker. Relationships are fulfilling because of the connection you make with another person.

I am always open and honest with the women in my life. I rarely walk up to women and say things like "I want to fuck you" because that is overt communication. That's not how women communicate. They communicate with emotions and sub-communication. When I approach a women I am clear with my intentions. She knows that I am there to get in her pants. I know she knows. There is no need to say so overtly. She respects this. You should examine why you believe why you can't be honest with women. If it's…

They are also of much higher risk to do crazy shit in the name of getting married / having children. Dread game only increases that risk. It works if you are an economically unviable mate (or much younger than they are), but if you have any kind of success it's very risky. You attract what you are. If you are manipulative, so will be your lovers.

Depends on what you mean by game. What there needs to be more of is how to establish a consistent, attractive frame. Pickup techniques/routines have no place in TRP. Edit: I also loathe talk like 'getting the upper hand'. That's the absolute worst mindset to have. If you play games with women, you will only attract women who play games. This will lead to disastrous relationships time and time again. If you are open and honest with yourself and your intentions, you will attract open and honest wo…

But why would you? It's not worth your time. Go find someone you legitimately enjoy instead of playing a game with an older woman. Unless you get off on manipulating people. That's just your thing then.

Beta shaming has been around for thousands of years. You can't have a social hierarchy without the bottom wrung being shamed. If the beta improves, the requirements to be alpha will be that much higher. It will always be the top 20%

Thank you. There's is far too much focus on women in this sub. The focus should be on what we can do about it. Yes. Life is unfair. We are the disposable gender. GET OVER IT. Go do something productive with your time instead of complaining. edit: concern trolling blah blah I know. Point stands. Do something with your life.

No. Post modernism is the idea that we can't know for certain what morals are right and wrong. Everything is subjective. It was a revolt against the black/white ideals of the modernist 50s (50s-ish) The word you are looking for is nihilist. What I am is a Buddhist. There's no meaning, but that's doesn't make life any less wonderful or amazing. Life just is.

You're bundling all relationships into the same pile and that's a flawed idea. Male/Male and Male/Female friendships DO work on the same underlying principles. Male/Male and Male/Female sexual relationships DO work on the same basic underlying principles of attraction and seduction. Also, you also realize your "TL;DR: Don't be kind to women" is exactly why this sub gets a bad misogynist rap right? I get what you are saying dude but, cmon. Think before you type.

Your description of 'men' and women in relationship is spot on. However the 'man' you describe is not a man, he's a boy. A man: Sets boundaries Puts himself first Self-Validaties Is Courageous Is Honorable. Then 'men' you describe sound nothing like that. But he’ll put up with anything for his woman, and put up with anything from his woman. He’ll fight for her, he’ll change for her, he’ll work for her, he’ll do anything she wants, because he loves her and wants her to be happy needs her to valid…

One, let go of the anger. Maintain frame. Two, use the opportunity to set boundaries. Tell her that her actions are unacceptable. If she does it again, deliberately crossing boundaries you have set, next her. I disagree with drrrr as there's no reason to next a girl who may think that's acceptable behavior. Especially if this is a new relationship and this is how she's acted with BFs in the past. You have to teach them .If she knows is unacceptable and does it anyway, she doesn't respect you and…

I was in the same spot. Some advice: There are plenty of single, childless, post wall women who are sexy smart and fun and will fuck you. However... If you get too close you will get burned. They will dump you after they have used you for sex. Post-Wall women have had their share of alphas and are looking for providers. You cannot provide. DO NOT GET ATTACHED Spin lotsa plates, have fun, don't fall in love. There are lots of amazing post-wall women out there. Don't bother with single moms though…

Has nothing to do with societies expectation of you. If you continue on the path of self-improvement you will come to a point where amusement or advancement at the expense of others will no longer satisfy you. There are deep seated reasons for that and you'll have to find your personal philosophy / spirituality that answers them. Start looking inward for answers, instead of outward for validation (you are trying to get reactions out of women. It's an adverse form of female attention seeking) Bei…

Nope. What happens is that you base your happiness in your partner. When you are not around your partner you dive into depression / anxiety. It comes out as neediness and jealousy. These behaviors only drive your partner away, so that the relationship inevitably ends. You must base your happiness in yourself. Yes and no. The Manosphere won't become the 4th branch, or anywhere close to it. That's just the author being egotistical. But, the internet as a whole certainly fills that void that the media is fulfilling. The Manosphere and TRP are apart of that, but they are not the whole thing.

As someone whose lost 80lbs and used to be obese, drop everything else and make your priority losing the weight. No woman will ever be able to replicate the feeling you get from looking in the mirror and not hating yourself. Read Alan Carrs Easyweigh to lose weight to help you break the mental chains, then choose a food plan that works for you. He recommends raw/vegan but I like Paleo. Steak is too tasty to give up. :#. Can also do keto or just cut out sugar. Whatever.

Fantastic fantastic movie. There are a bunch of things that TRP should eat up. So much of the movie was about male and female gender roles being swapped, or rather men becoming feminine and women becoming masculine. Look at the dress of the characters (Amy is always rakish and plain, while most of the men wear Highwaisted pants), the careers of the characters (Videogame programmer vs love letter writer), their roles in the relationships (Amy being the breadwinder while Charles is the homemaker) …

Men grow with each woman they sleep with. They learn and become more experienced with women and are thereby better at understanding women and being in relationships. This makes them more valuable. Women's value decreases the more men they sleep with. Men's value increases.

Most RPers should agree with this article and it's definition of feminism. She's defining feminism as the belief that women are at a disadvantage in society and therefore women/people should do something about it. If you ask most people, feminism is the fight for gender equality, not the fight against women's inequality. It's a good article. I agree that we should define feminism this way. You have to frame it correctly. Don't call it sexism, call it gender differences. Game ; courtship. Negging ; teasing. Dominance ; leadership. If you control the language you control the debate. If women don't respond well to your RP talk, use different semantics next time. Edit: using proper language is critical in framing discussions with women. I think it's a start to a good discussion, but you're not going to find any great answers here as none of us really know what masculinity is. There's no real way for us to confirm or rebuke you. I dislike the subjective nature of it. Getting what you want is so open ended gaff it could encompass all of human behavior. I like the definition based on ability instead of behavior. Possibly. As far as I've understood it frame is how you act in a certain situation. Your frame around your boss is different than around your girlfriend. When you fail to "maintain" frame you act differently than normal. The idea that you have to act a certain way constantly around your girlfriend to maintain attraction instead just acting how you feel like acting is what I see as toxic in a long term relationship. Why not? How do you earn something that is freely given? Being worthy of love is a decision you make yourself. You either decide that you are or you aren't. This doesn't mean someone has to show you love all the time, or that everyone will love you, or that you can demand love from someone. But when it is shown, you deserve it because you exist. Why can't you actually listen to what she has to say and then call her on her shit if it's actually bullshit? If someone comes to you for support and advice, why is your first reaction to mock them for having human emotions and needing help? Why don't you have any compassion? Because it doesn't get you laid? Come on.

I just... I don't see this as a healthy was of having relationships. I want deep relationships with my girlfriends and friends alike. That's not possible to do if I'm constantly maintaining frame and not letting myself be vulnerable around my friends and lovers. It doesn't build attraction, no, but women are just one part of life. There's passion of work, friendship, gratitude and joy. I think this kind if "you have to maintain frame all the time or you will never maintain LTRs" line of thinking…

She dumped you. It sucks. The only thing you can do is move on. Stop thinking about her. Focus on your life, work, friends and meeting new women. You said you didn't want a girlfriend. Your relationship was based upon that. You then tried to adjust the boundaries of the relationship and she refused. She realized the relationship won't work with that dissonance so she ended it. Remember, she may just not want a BF right now, and as much as she likes you (even loves you) that won't change. You ask…

I have. I have a different definition of masculinity that isn't tied to the perceptions of others.

Being more attractive does not make you more of a man!

You are tying what it means to be a man to your social position. This is the most unmanly thing of all.

Read the book "Daring Greatly" by Brene Brown. It's not RP, but it will help. Look, your problem is that you got into this relationship by not being yourself. Who you think you are and who your girlfriend thinks you are are two different things. This gap is causing your suffering. The way to solve this then is two fold. One, begin to open up to her. Help her understand who you really are. Don't overshare, don't unload everything on her all at once. But share some emotional vulnerability with her…

No. There's too much good content here. It's like a diamond covered in shit. It's worth getting my hands dirty, but I'm not gonna like it.

But I don't really see things changing for me or for any of us. You can change the societal norms sure but you can't change what woman are attracted to This is 100% correct and what we REALLY should be discussing in this comment section. The purpose of trp should be to discuss the polarity between what society tells us and the reality of male life. The video discuess what society is telling men to be. Emotionally dead, violence, seek status and power, etc. But what should we be seeking? Self-val…

Because most men are too ashamed to talk about how much pain and suffering they deal with on a daily basis. They feel as if they let it out they will be seen as "Less than". Which, in the eyes of women, is true. One of the problems of modern masucilinty is that emotional resiliency is one of it's main sticking points. You're supposed to have control of your emotions. You're supposed to be strong emotionally, not just physically. Everyone suffers. It takes true courage to tell others you are.

No, this video is pointing to a very real issue in today's world of male shame. The very thing they are talking about is that men feel that they cannot be themselves, that they must put on some type of act to "prove" themselves to others. Not just women, but their fellow man. This type of "ITS THE FEMINISTS FAULT, BOOO!" attitude is why I loathe redpill. This sub has so much great content but is incredibly misguided at the same time. Being a man is about having confidence, valuing yourself above…

It took me a decade to realize all the harm my faith did to me. The idea of Grace, that you are inherently flawed and unworthy of love but God decides he will love you anyway, is incredibly toxic. Fuck that. I'm worthy of love because I exist. All humans are. It's not even a logic / existence of god problem. If you want to believe in a higher being that's fine. But don't place your own self worth on something outside yourself. You should treat people well because you have compassion for them as …

Great. She's the one right now. I agree with you. Think about how much you've changed since you were 12. You feel like you're a completely different person right? Now take that and triple that difference. That's how much you will change by the time you are 24. Then by the time you are 30 you will change that much again. Then by the time you are 40 you will change that much again. Then by the time you are 50 you will change that much again. Even though she is perfect for you right now, she will n…

If a girl doesn't care enough about her relationship to stay faithful, why should I? Because you are of higher value than her. I have a problem with saying "Lol it's not my problem!" Because we're all human, we all share in the same suffering. You are a cause of another humans' suffering. You could easily walk away and that situation would not occur. (Note that I said a cause, not the cause). If you are cool with that, then go for it. I'm all for subjective ethics. We cause suffering for other p…
