So I texted that girl last night but got no response. Maybe I was dumb for just writing "hey there!!". Lol but this is why I hate texting; I'm not good at it and it's usually what screws up my action before it even starts!

ok not nearly enough information to help you, but generally its not good to text girls open ended things like "hey there!!" - "Hey there" basically means there is nothing specifically about you I like, I just want to talk to a person and/or I am needy for human contact/affection. If you're going to text a girl you should always text her something specific, preferably about something you guys experienced together. Also "hey there" means the conversation is one sided - i.e., you need something from her (a response). But when you text her something funny you saw and/or experienced you are providing value to her without needing anything back. The ideal text is one that the person doesn't need to respond to.
