Hi there,

I've gotten a few barmaids, and waitresses numbers.

Here's how I've done it, flirt like shit, ideally go at a time where she isn't busy.

Be forward, take the piss, ask her name, where shes from usual shit.

Then when youre about to leave go, "you seem cool whats youre number we should grab a drink sometime."

She'll either write it down or say it outloud. Never give youre number, they will hardly ever call you.

Another line if youre not feeling so comfortable is to ask for their facebook, a girl loves to have more guys on her fb, as we like to have more girls on ours.

But be careful not to shit where you eat. I've done it few times, and its not good.

Personally, I don't try to pick up waitresses. I use them as practice, because they pretty much HAVE to talk to you. It's actually helped me when talking to other women, because I've found some things I should and shouldn't say just by practicing on waitresses.

Be subtle, make a lot of eye contact, smile, laugh if it's right.

After you get your check, and pay, write your number and first name down on a piece of paper.

They may not call or text you, but then again they may. Being in the position your in, don't be like every douche who walks through the door or creepy old man. "Hey you're cute,sexy,hot,etc... would you want to go out sometime?"

They are already at work and shouldn't be saying yes, and will 9/10 not accept your advances and push you off gently because this happens to them so fucking often...

So leave a short note, name and number. Short note is optional, I'd say five words at best, if it's cheesy that's fine, like relating to something with the dinner that was funny or noticeable.

This takes the decision away from work and puts in back in her hands. Now I'm not saying your the only guy in the world to leave a waitress their number but it happens a lot less often than your average d-bag approach, and is also much much more successful.

Oh last thing, don't go section stalking for this girl... finding out when she's working, asking for her section, shit like that... not cool.
