Why shoot yourself in the foot? I'm not saying it's a sure thing, but you can fuck up a friendship by telling a girl that you like her.

If the fact that you've been friends for 5 years and that she tells you that you give off "really good friend vibes" then what is the point in asking if you already know the answer but are plainly ignoring it. What if she still doesn't give you the answer that you want?

If you want a better chance with her, improve yourself, work on your game, use kino whenever you can, and push yourself out of the whole "friend zone" gradually.

I know that people will always ask questions hoping for a specific answer, and I'm not the one giving it to them.

Edit: Saying "I know we're just really good friends"...? Dude, regardless of her feelings you're literally setting the frame that you're just friends right here. Go in with some confidence or don't do this shit at all man. You show her a man, or you stay a boy in the friend zone.

could almost have been a hint to tell her your true feelings. She responded in a good demeanor it looks like, just continue what your doing with her, but maybe introduce kino to see if she responds well, it will also help her decide if she could see herself dating you.

You are so wrong in so many ways.

I basically told her I liked her, and that I already sensed she just saw me as a good friend.

So you basically asked yourself to get friendzoned. Look, here's the thing. Women are a ball of crazy emotions that are always changing. They don't know what they want and that's why they need a man to lead them. By telling a girl "you just like me as a friend, right?" the girl will always say "yes" because you've made the decision for her. She MIGHT have been interested in you, but you basically canceled it. By saying "hey we're just friends, right" you took the pressure off of yourself by asking to get rejected and now you think you feel "good." No, you fucked up. I mean, I guess its good that you got yourself rejected because you shouldn't be trying to fuck your friends anyway.

Also, the idea of "liking" a girl makes no sense to her. Like I said, a girl is a ball of crazy emotions that are constantly changing, so they don't even know who they like. So when you say "I like you" that means nothing to the girl. NOTHING. She doesn't understand those words.

However, I REALLY like this girl. It will drive me nuts until I hear her say "I don't like you". I just need to know so I can move on. At the same time, I want to remain as good of friends as we have been with no change.

You can't. If you have feelings for her, you can't be friends. You can't just turn feelings off. It will always be weird. You need to cut contact. Sorry, ya done goofed.
