Hi Seddit, first post here.

I started studying in college last semester and also lurking on this subreddit since then. I have since then been constantly trying to improve my self in different ways and it has been going good so far. I'm studying for a degree in social science (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Socionom) and the gender split is like 90% Female / 10% Male, so I meet girls in different settings basically daily.

One thing I started to think about is how to respond when a girl gives me a compliment? It's just some basic stuff like "Wow, you are a great dancer", "You have a very nice music taste", "I can't believe you manage to find time to do all that" when I tell about myself a little. Now that I'm writing this post I realized the one about music is just her giving me an easy way to steer conversation to talk about music. But what about the other ones?

I have even heard from a couple of girls "I've heard you're not as innocent as you look" which started after a rumor (which was true, but not supposed to come out) that I had sex with a girl that was in the group that welcomes (Not sure what the equvialent of this tradition is called in English, sorry) new students, and they are not allowed to have any intimate contact with the new students during this period. I also look a little younger than I am (20), but it's not something that actually bothers me anymore thanks to the content I have read here.

TL:DR I am not used to receiving compliments, what are some fun ways to respond instead of "Heh, thanks"?
