I constantly go to this store like a block away from my apartment, and I always love seeing and talking to this cute cashier who works there. I actually subscribed to this subreddit, so I can get good at conversing, build up confidence, and eventually ask her out. Well after several months of practice, I've approached over 30-40 girls both in my university and around random places, have gone on fun dates, and enjoying getting know so many interesting people. I'm getting the hang of it, but need to keep practicing and pushing myself to get better. Having said that, I'm really happy and felt more confident than ever and this subreddit has helped quite a bit.

Anyways, that was a bit off tangent. The point of the question was that I just walked into the store again today to pick up some things. I was excited to get my stuff checked out by her, and we end up talking for a bit. It was awesome to hear she recognizes me as a regular. But god, any other situation I would have already gone for the number, but I just fucking froze, thanked her and walked out... I felt like the whole 3 months of approaching went down the fucking drain!! I made myself feel better afterwards by convincing myself that it was okay not to ask her out, and that I didn't want things to get awkward since I go to the store so often, and how it's so close to my apartment... It temporarily made me feel better, but now I feel like a grade A pussy. Anyways, what are your thoughts on this, or the question? Sorry if my context pretty much had nothing to do with the question; just wanted a decent title to get some viewers for my situation.
