So I found enough courage to ask a girl in my math class for her number, however it was under the pretext that we could compare answers/study. I am getting better at my "game" and building up my confidence, but have I doomed myself from the start by introducing the thought that I asked for her number because of college and not that I found her very attractive and wanted to get to know her...? I am not super attractive for a guy, but being over six feet with blue eyes and a runner's build I have the genetic lottery in my favor and I think that she was more receptive of my "advances" because of it. Any advice would be greatly appreciated, or a simple point in the direction of an already answered question that is akin to my own.
