Lately, I've had no trouble generating attraction, going on dates, kissing girls, and generating great amounts of sexual tension. But it seems that I get stuck just past that point.
Let's backup for a sec: I am unashamedly looking for something a little bit more substantive than a one night stand. Not to say I'm out looking for my next wife, but I think it would be a fair assessment that I'm looking for someone that I click with more on an intellectual, personal level. This I'm comfortable with, and has been born out of knowing two things: 1) that I don't get much out of ONS anymore, and 2) that my appeal, my strength, isn't in that kind of game anyways - I approach things with a slightly longer game.
And while I'm clear on my own ideas and my own style, I'm wondering why it has run me into some new issues. Often after seeing a girl once or twice or three times, after generating sexual tension and so on, things fall off: for example, a girl who i was very interested in for a while, who would continually text me and who i made out with once at a bar and once back at her place one afternoon (sidebar: would have escalated but i was only dropping in there before i had to head to work)...suddenly grew cold on me, literally within the space of a few days.
This is frustrating me! My usual approach, once i have their number, have usually kissed them, is a little bit of back and forth flirting over text, and then propose the idea of seeing them at some point in the next week or two. Is this the right approach?
More generally, what can I do to go from a point where I'm kissing girls, going on dates, etc. to a point where I'm continuing to see these girls?
