Some women actively prefer older men - ex. my OLTR1 is 28 years younger than I am, which is the same age gap as between your ex and the 50 y.o. That said, the difference is that my OLTR1 comes from a stable, 2 parent home, and she's not fucked in the head.

The 75 year old is the weird part. She could have a fetish for older guys, or she might feel like she exercises a measure of control in that relationship - I know a 35 y.o. who fucks her 70 y.o. boss, but evidently she's ok with the age difference and, to him, she's hot young tail. So, to each there own.

To those women who prefer older men, us old guys represent stability, lack of jealousy, and the competition from other young women is going to be pretty thin. That said, your girl had other issues.
