If you feel that you're being deceitful by not divulging every little detail, then sure, go ahead and tell them early on.

If you're truly JUST casually dating, you aren't being inherently dishonest by not immediately disclosing that. Think of it this way - I had chlamydia about 6 years ago, and now that I get screened regularly, I certainly don't feel dishonest about NOT disclosing that; it's in the past, it's not an issue any more.

Basically, if you feel like you're being dishonest, go ahead and tell them. But from my perspective of casual dating, you don't owe them any significant investment so long as you aren't lying to them.

After I had broken off my engagement I didn't tell any of the girls I was dating other than the two I was seriously interested in. So no, I generally would not tell.
