So first field report, I need advice on what I did wrong. It went really well at first. I'm with a buddy in New Orleans checking out a brand new nightclub. He orders bottle service for us and for his dj buddy. He's already in with some actress girl and I'm feeling left out so, so I decide to man up and approach a girl. I have no excuse. I've got bottles, champagne, and djs. (Btw, this def isn't normal for me ) I approach this girl and her friend, and ask them their names and ask if they want a drink. I lead her to our table, and we start drinking and dancing. The girl and her friend want to move bars, so I look to my buddy (who's providing all the cash btw) and he sends me off, trying to get me laid. It's going well we're walking and laughing, holding hands, kissing, all the way down bourbon street and we walk into the new bar. That's when things got weird. My girl's friend sleeps with the owner, so she gets us tons of free drinks and gets us into VIP but as the night progresses, my girl gradually loses steam. She isn't as forward or handsy as she used to be. She won't respond when I talk to her or kiss her. Up until the new bar she was all over me and I was playing the situation great. When we get there I lose all steam. Before long she comes up with a bogus excuse to bail and I know it's a lost cause. My friend rented us a hotel room and expected me to bring her back, but I failed in that respect.

Tldr: start flirting with girl, goes really well, switch bars and lose all steam. She bails.

Maybe my mistake was not leaving the bar soon enough. As soon as I realized she was into me, I should have moved her towards the hotel??
