Having being a lurker for awhile I figured I should share my success with you seeing that it was mostly because of things i've seen most of you post.

Our night starts inside a bar/nightclub to celebrate a friends birthday. The night starts out pretty bland, approach a few girls with alpha type boyfriends (or so it appeared) as well as flat out rejections and a few semi-postive from a few others. Eventually, in the middle of gaming the birthday guy calls me and a friend to the roof to have a smoke/chat with us in a less noisy environment. Eventually guy B (not the birthday boy leaves to tend to his girlfriend leaving me and the birthday boy just talking. In the midst of the conversation he directs my attention to a female that he seems interested in and tells me to wing man him on this one. So for the sake of his birthday and me being a good friend we both walk over to the girl and begin talking to her. After introducing my self and setting the tone I prepare to leave until the initial girl's friend comes over to join the conversation. As she entered my eyes fixed on her for maybe a whole 3 seconds after which he too looked back into my eyes were we both then smiled. After alot more small talk I realize that the conversations going better than I thought it would and slowly try to pry her out of the group setting by throwing playful taunts to get some movement at some amount of kino. After getting her close to a wall to lean on we start to talk about more intense topics like about goals, whats she doing after school and few others I can't actually recall. After a while more thoughts went through my head about how i was going to number close for her to remember me properly or something for her to stick the thought of "Conceited_sam" to her mind. But as i was busy thinking of smart witty things to say the conversation ran into a dry ditch and there was just a "awkward" moment of silence where we just stared at each other. After a few seconds of this i decided fuck it, not putting any thought into this one and went straight for the k-close. Unfortunately she dodged me as i went in making a bit awkward for me as i had lost my footing while trying to kiss her. After feeling kinda like shit I and laughing it of i asked her what made her not want to kiss me. She tells me she has a boyfriend (which I didn't really believe but i respected the fact that she didnt want anything passed flirting. Itching to get away I look around for my friend who im assuming also didn't luck out with the girl he was talking to and he headed down stairs. So to finish up with the current girl i was talking to I tell her that I have to leave as my friend was my only ride back home and it was nice talking to her and offer to give her my number (instead of getting a fake number, why not give one she wont call) to make her know i was still interested in her at least. Fast forwarding due to this long ass field report about a week later the same girl texts me about hanging out as she thought i was a really cool person. I agree to this and we go out to see a movie. At the movie theater now while watching the movie she randomly turns to me and asked in an extremely confused voice why did i try to kiss her after just meeting her for 15 minutes and if i thought she was just some easy side girl. I told her no, and that I found her to be beautiful and I simply wanted to kiss her. After saying this making direct eye contact the same "awkward" moment came where we would just stair at each other for roughly 2 seconds after which i decided to go in again, this time she instead of resisting he grabbed the back of my neck and took the lead. This continued for a minute more until we realized we were getting graphic as intermission for the movie came and we decided to go behind the theater and continued to make out there. No real big pointer out in this FR but just the fact that you shouldn't put too much thought into your next move. make it a bit spontaneous

TL:DR Went into the k-close within the first 15 minutes of talking and thought I failed, ended up actually pulling in more attraction the next week
