With contact, I'm referring to a texting app called Whatsapp. You can block a contact, rendering them unable to send messages to you.

I have trouble getting my mind off some girl, friendzoning me. I know I shouldn't, but I discover myself checking my phone for messages of her more than I want. I blocked her now, so she can't send me messages at all and can't also check when was the last time I was online.

Should I keep this block, or does it come off as needy?
