This past weekend I went out on a first date with a girl who I met online. There was about a week in between setting the date and the actual date. To keep her interest high, we had a very light conversation through text and about halfway through the week I called her after work. Do this if there is a large gap between dates. It'll keep her attention more than a few typical text convos. During our date she mentioned how confident she thought it was for me to call her. Crazy, right? Calling = Confidence. And it's so easy. The call should be about 20-30 minutes; enough to get her comfortable to your voice and make her excited to actually SEE you. You should ALWAYS end the first phone conversation, and end it at a high point. Not during first time you guys are really getting the conversation going, but maybe after the first light silence you start another conversation thread that's doing well, then do it in the middle of that convo. Tell her you just got home and need to start making dinner, or get some work done; anything that will demonstrate some value.

We met at a low-key bar where we could have a conversation without yelling over loud music. My personal preference seeing as conversation is one of my stronger points and I want to demonstrate that. I initiated kino within 85 seconds of meeting her. How? I opened the door for her and led her in by touching the small of her back ever so lightly. That shows that I'm being a gentleman and I'm not afraid to touch you.

After getting our beer we sit on some stools at a table where there are 6 other people at. It was one of those long tables. About a little more than hour in, I start thinking to myself when I should kiss her. Well right then and there is the answer to that. If you're thinking it, odds are you're at a point you could do so, whether thats 10 minutes into the interaction or 4 hours, hopefully its not 4 hours though.

The kiss wasn't very smooth. I kind of did it mid conversation and it threw her off, but she was receptive to it. In fact, she even grabbed my face and kissed me soon after, now that was a good kiss. See? It doesn't have to be perfect, or the right moment. If you've created attraction, and you can sense that, which you should be able to, you don't need some fancy line or moment to do it, just plant that kiss already!

The date lasted 4 hours and the conversation barely stopped and we never even noticed that there were people there, we made our own little world (she said this as we were paying and leaving). About three quarters of the way in she even made our plans for a date 2...at her house.

Now of course a lot of this could be attributed to the fact that we had a very genuine chemistry to us. But the things I'd like you guys to take away from this field report is the importance of bringing her into your world. The first date should all be set up by you. The location, the time, the event. And when you get there, especially if its a date from online, initiate kino incredibly early by one of two ways; an introductory hug, or the way I did on my date. Also, work on your conversation and story telling skills. How can you do so? You already know the answer and should be doing it anyways...TALK TO EVERYBODY. The cashier, the sweet old lady at the bus stop, the dude in line in front of you, whatever. And learn to tack stories to things. She orders a coke? Tell her about the time you visited the factory in Atlanta. She's a teacher? Tell her about the time you landed yourself in detention.

Anyways, I hope you guys enjoyed the report but now go out there and meet some women!
