Just remember to have fun. Mid you're truly having fun it'll show and she'll feel more comfortable and she'll be having fun too! Don't treat her like a friend, don't be afraid of touching (light stuff obviously) and flirting. By the end of the date either ask her out for the next weekend and it give her a kiss! I know exactly how you feel man. Starting to actually date girls after you have already built attraction is extremely exciting and can also be very scary. Im very new to dating myself, but you have absolutely nothing to worry about mate.

You did not tell us about how you met this girl, or what kind of relationship that has already been built between you, but you need to know this: you are telling us about how afriad you are of messing things up with her and this will probably be the reason why you would might actually mess things up later. If you don't have any other alternatives atm, you are probably putting way to much fictional value in this girl and this is when needyness is born. Think of the situation like this: You are going on a date with a cute girl. It can go well, or it might not go that well. It does not matter. There are literally millions of other hot girls out there. It is very easy to focus on the bad and think negative thoughts, but you need to believe in yourself that the girl likes you and is interested, even though you might did some "mistakes" in different interactions. It's not a one man show. You are not the one that's gonna try and impress her. Be the prize. She also needs to invest and put in effort to get you. You are gonna try and find out if YOU like this girl. Not if she likes you.

Mini golfing is great! It might be enough but ideally you want to switch things up a bit and escalete different places so you two dont get bored of one activity/place. Maybe meet her at a Café first if that is possible. Chat for a while then go mini golfing. You decide. Do what you feel like. Try to close with a kiss if things go well but dont kill yourself if you didn't dare or she rejected you slightly.

Why are you worried that you let her decide the date? Yes, the guy should often be the one take things to the next step etc, but it does not matter as long as you two decided to meet up. She obviously wants to meet you. You also need to let her build something with you and dont allways push to be the guy who set up dates etc... Let things evolve naturally. It would be worse if you told her "call me whenever you have time" or something like that as it implies that you are waiting for her and that's not very exciting for her.

Dont overthink what a "REAL" date is. If you are gonna hang out with a girl you like alone (assuming you have already built attraction), it is basically a "date". This is gonna go well mate. You naturally need to flirt and escalate but I wont get into that now. You should read about that if you havent yet. Don't be afraid of "akward silence". You don't need to have the most exciting conversations every second. Enjoy each others company. She also needs to be a part of the conversation and think of things to say. Also, if you feel things go really bad dont let it get to you. I know how that feels but I've improved my mindset a lot. You need to think positive and reflected or else this game is gonna kill you! I had a 2nd date with a girl on thursday and managed to close with the first kiss but I did something suuper akward right after that. But I try and laugh it off and think positive about it that it doesen't really matter.
