So, one trick that I have tried out using is to use an opener and then never introduce myself by saying "Hi, my name is ____ " Instead, I'll just start the conversation and continue talking. I'll keep doing so until she introduces herself or asks me for my name. This helps me gauge interest. If she asks for a name, she is investing in the conversation and shows interest in me as a person. IDK, this is a theory I have come up with, and was wondering if you guys agree. I would love more field testing on it, as I am only a n=1 opinion.
