Huge music festival? Get drunk ;-)

Festivals and raves are some of the worst situations to pick up girls in within the context of night life events that do bring lots of girls. There are way too many girls that are on hard drugs that are in no state to give consent (both legally and sometimes even verbally/socially), even if you did get them into you enough in the time you're at the festival to bring them home. I would not recommend making a habit of trying to pick up girls at events like that.

My one success story in this context was at a "festival" at Red Rocks Ampitheater in Colorado (if you don't know of the venue, the atmosphere and setup is very different from normal festivals and venues in general, and it's much more friendly for approaching girls to dance/talk). I found a girl to dance with, asked her to dance, and we ended up making out by the end of the show. I got her number, asked her out to a movie and dinner a couple of days later, and hooked up with her that night. That's the exception and not the rule, though. Girls are generally looking to have fun at festivals listening to music and dancing on their own unless they bring a bf, not to hookup with random dudes. Go to these events for the right reasons.
