This brings back memories of advice that I got a lot before I started putting myself out there: You're more ready than you think.

If you're stuck in a rut where you're constantly consuming knowledge but not actually going out and talking to girls, you're screwing yourself over.

Get out of your head. Stop focusing so much on what you're doing/saying when you're interacting with others, and just be present and enjoy the interaction. Treat the means as an end in itself. In my experience, even if you get rejected, you'll more often than not make that girl's day by coming up to her and expressing interest. So go and be that gift to her.
