BREATH SUPPORT! As a classically-trained singer, I can say that this is all you need. Engage your core muscles (should feel like you're gearing up to take a shit), then use that core support to take tension away from your throat. People think a strong, deep, booming voice should originate in the throat, but it actually originates in your core.

I just saw an article on the Wall Street Journal site called "How to make your voice more charismatic." It is behind a pay wall but you can access it free from Google if you just search for that specific headline and look for the WSJ link.

Singing. I don't give a fuck if you can't sing. Go to a isolated place and scream., wail, jam out to your favorite tune. Get used to using a loud voice and especially focus on trying to emphasize your words, slow down your pacing and engaging your core. That's where the low sexy man rumble voice comes from. Push more air out through your stomach and try to hold a conversation with yourself just doing that.

I've also found that I struggle to have a voice that is charismatic and commanding which makes me get out of state very quickly.
