In my past few outings, I have found that there is often a typical "angry chick" in many groups. This isn't just at bars and the like, but in almost every situation.
For example, this past weekend I was hanging out with my family. My aunt and cousins love me, but I have one aunt who seems incapable of masking her visible disdain for me. I have no idea what brought it on, but she attempted to (unsuccessfully) insult me whenever she had the chance. I kept my frame and always came out of any interaction on top by being humourous and not being an asshole back.
Another recent example was in a group of guys, all out for a smoke break, when a girl randomly showed up. (It was in an adult night class, and she has occasionally attended classes). We were all pretty friendly, but with them all being chumps, they immediately flocked to her and threw their unconditional attention at her (I can see her manipulating them, they're all blue-pillers). One of them called my attention over to their fawning fest, (asking me about something I do), where she made some snide remark at my expense. Perhaps the fact that I wasn't participating in their rather droll circling of the girl, with their attempt to draw me into their conversation (I was having a conversation with some other dudes, thank you very much!) established me as a bit of an alpha figure, and by not responding to her snide remark I failed her shit-test.
I'm sure these can both be considered shit tests. But in broad strokes, how does one handle that "group bitch"? I don't really wanna go "scorched earth" on them, especially if its family.
