This is my problem. I sometimes try to say things to make my intentions clear and show that I'm being flirtatious, but I go overboard and the girl doesn't respond well. It's not so much kino, but more about what I say, I think.

For instance, I might shoot a girl a text like "How's my beautiful Katy doing?" Or I might make a joke that just isn't funny, etc.

Generally, I'm a pretty open and funny guy and don't have problems making conversation. Yet when I'm with a girl I like, I fuck it up. My way of trying to be the cool / player / don't give a shit type of dude isn't working.

Basically, I just don't know how to make my intentions clear while being smooth.

Advice?
